Ready, Fire, Aim

It’s in the wrong order if you’re on a rifle range, or know what you are aiming at.

Often, we think we know, and so when we miss the target, we are understandably frustrated and disappointed.

Ready, Fire, Aim sounds haphazard until you notice that Ready is where we start.

Next time you are coaching, and you notice that you lose the first 10-15 minutes of a session to the logistics of Aim, perhaps you need to Fire first, and let Aim emerge from doing.
