One aim, three jumps, plenty of information

Between performance and play lies the question: What can you do now that you couldn’t do before? Sprint faster — sure. Jump onto that tree stump — sounds like fun. You get the idea. You get to choose.

Last night at Sprint Social, I asked the adults and kids if they could jump their own height, measured with sticks. Then, could they jump three times their height, using three repeated jumps, and more sticks?

One aim, three jumps, and plenty of information.

Some could jump their height. Others caught up on the three jumps. And everyone gave it a go.

Measure twice, cut once – we return to hops, skips, and rhythm.
